Before,
I floated in the mind realm
watching the wonders of this world.

Now,
the warm caress of your lips
draws my whole being
into the touch
of real wonder.

Thinking of seeing your radiant face
and drawing you close,
I know what blooming trees feel
as spring sap rises
through their branches
toward the sky.
